Prepare for the CAEC math test

The CAEC math test is two parts and 42 questions in two hours. Here's the format, the topics it covers, and the materials you can use to prepare, including a free practice test.

CAEC math test format

The CAEC math test is delivered in two parts on the same test day. The split matters because Part I bans calculators and Part II allows them.

  • No calculator
  • 30 minutes

Part II

  • 30 questions
  • Calculator allowed
  • 90 minutes

Total: 42 questions in 2 hours. You need 55% or higher to pass; 80% or above is graded as "exceeds standard."
