About the CAEC exam
The Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) is Canada's high school equivalency test, developed to replace the GED. It gives adults who did not finish high school a recognized way to demonstrate high school-level knowledge and skills.
The CAEC assesses five subject areas. Passing it can open doors to employment, post-secondary education, and career advancement. Our materials are organized to match the way the exam is actually structured and scored.

CAEC Ready is an independent Canadian study resource, built by people who work in education. Our board has more than 50 years in the field between them, in Alberta and Ontario.
That experience runs from the classroom to the page. It is why the material is written to be worked through by an adult sitting down after a long shift, in plain language, one short topic at a time, with an explanation for every answer rather than just a key at the back.
We were glad to see the CAEC arrive. A Canadian credential, assessed against Canadian outcomes, is the right thing for adults finishing what they started, and our job is to make preparing for it straightforward.
